Life Update (July 2023)

HELLO BABES, I’M BAAAACK! A little life update for you all..

I’ve missed you all so so much, and I can’t wait to dive right back in. I wanted to post a re-introduction post to fill in all who are old, and new. I don’t think I’ve posted anything since 2019, so I’m sure you’re all wondering what I’ve been up to. (Maybe not, but I’m going to tell you anyway). I had to take a hiatus from blogging and traveling when I started my journey to become a physician assistant back in August of 2019. I spent 2.75 years in school, training to practice medicine, and I DID IT. A portion of my studies were completed at school in Philadelphia, PA, and then I took clinicals in nearly 10 different states. (I know, this would have been a great time to travel and explore new places, and I definitely did. However, time unfortunately was dedicated to studying and working, and blogging just fell to the wayside.) The good news, is that I’m back.

After I finished my studies, I moved back to Maryland, and since then have been settling into my new job as an emergency medicine physician assistant working at a local hospital. My dogs and I have finally settled into a townhome close by and now that I have my feet back on the ground, I can no longer ignore my raging travel fever. SO with that being said, I’ve got plans. BIG ONES. Follow along as I pick back up where I left off and continue my trips around the US. Right now, I’m writing this post from the lovely West Virginia, so you already know that I’ve got a future post in the making. I anticipate the post to be uploaded within the next several weeks, so stay tuned.

End life update: In the meantime, I can’t wait to get back to connecting with all of you and hopefully inspiring the inner travel bug in all of you.
