Meet Your Blogger

Odds are, you found your way to this site for some reason or another; Whether you are a friend/family member that I have relentlessly begged to check out my blog, you want to explore somewhere new but aren’t sure where to start, or you liked one of my previous articles and wanted to read more!  Even better odds are, you just read that first sentence (or half of it) and are now clicking around on the site onto bigger and better things (not offended at all, it only took me 3 hours to conjure up this introductory post).

Okay, so if I still have your attention, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Crystal. I’m a 29 year old newly graduated physician assistant. Right now, I’m in the process of jump-starting my career in emergency medicine, and as I navigate the trials and tribulations of credentialing, tying down licensure, and all of that good stuff, I’m here to share with you all of my travel tips, life tips, and anything else I feel like rambling about in my spare time.

I first discovered my love for travel when I was 23 years old (late bloomer). I had never been on an airplane and finally forced myself to suck it up and booked a 3-day trip to Mexico for Spring Break with my best friend. I didn’t want to visit Mexico to party, rather, I wanted to see Mexico for the history that it held; although I will admit that the all-inclusive resort in which we stayed was definitely a plus. Determined to pack as much into my trip as I could, we filled those three days with plenty of authentic experiences and day trips. Once I returned, I immediately started to plan my next trip and haven’t stopped since.

Working full-time makes frequent travel difficult, and often my vacations are cut short to about 3-4 days. So, I’m here to show you how to plan for short weekend trips and how to get the most bang for your buck. My current goal for 2022-2023 is to see one new city a week, one new state a month, and one new country a year (eyes are bigger than my stomach, I know).

I also have a huge passion in street-style fashion, life-hacks, medicine (obviously), and helping others out in any way that I possibly can, so I’m implementing some new re-branding to the RTS niche. Look out for some new content regarding working in the field of medicine, navigating a professional medical program, adjusting to this new pandemic/endemic COVID world, and so much more.

So that’s it! I’ll add articles, tips, and updates as often as I can, and if you’re interested in my journey, feel free to subscribe and read on! My contact information is listed in the top menu. I am always open to questions, suggestions, and trip collab, so if you’re interested shoot me an e-mail!

Thanks friends!
