I still cannot believe that we are already essentially halfway through August! This year has simply flown right by, and just keeps on cruising. I can’t complain though, because fall is my FAVORITE season. The weather is perfect, the colors of the outdoors make my heart skip a beat, um RENAISSANCE FESTIVALS, apple cider, halloween, and most importantly the clothing. Oh my god, the boots, the jackets, the scarves, there is arguably no better fashion season. I want to share with you some common staples that you MUST have in your closet for this upcoming fall. Here are some of the best 2019 fall fashion trends.

Leopard Print

This is one of my most recent purchases, and I am OBSESSED. Not only are they cute, but they are super comfortable and go with almost everything. Most importantly? They were under $20. I got mine at Walmart, but you can find a similar version of these on Amazon at the link below!

I know you’ve seen it. We’ve got skirts, cover-ups, slip-ons, booties, phone cases, nail designs, hair scarves, you name it. Leopard print has made a massive come back over the past few months, and I don’t see it going away any time soon, and hey, I’m HERE for it.

Booties

A timeless classic. Booties have been a large staple accessory for many fall seasons now, and continue to be one of my favorites year in and year out. (In fact, I wear these season round, no guilt what so ever. They just go with EVERYTHING). These come with little to no heel, a slight heel, or you go for the gold with a bigger heel. Whatever you desire. My go to? A happy medium with the slight heel.

I typically request the season’s latest from my Stitch Fix stylist, and she never fails to meet my needs. Stitch Fix is one of my favorites because I get everything I need for the season once a month for only $20 a month. (Interested? Learn more here for $25 off your first month purchase!) In addition, Amazon always has some cute affordable finds, and I’ve included some examples below!

Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits are my current FAVORITE. They are just so stylish, comfortable, and save so much time (and money) because they’re an entire outfit in one. To me, a good jumpsuit can make a girl look hella put together on the laziest of days, and are incredibly acceptable for business casual. Just throw on a blazer and magic you’re a girl BOSS. *Pro tip* Pair with a good pair of booties and you’ve got legs for days. Once again, my Stitch stylist is always sending me the season’s latest for these, and I have yet to be disappointed. Amazon always has cute finds too.

Vests

I love vests because there are just so many options and styles. Feeling lazy? Throw on a plain long sleeve tee, some leggings, a puffer vest, and a cute sporty hat, and bam you’re sporty and killing the day’s errands. Feeling fancy? Opt for a fur vest with plain a plain black tee and some jeans. All eyes (or pets) on you. Want to keep it simple? Try for an army green mid length vest for a clean, professional, and trendy look. I’m a huge advocate for the puffer vests. In fact I have one in probably every color and pattern you can think of. *Pro tip* Old Navy goes nuts on sales for these every year on Black Friday!

Mules

Oh my god you guys. This has been such an awesome staple for me. I (truth be told) really hate wearing shoes. Hate putting them on, hate wearing them while I’m driving, etc. Mules are so fun for me because they are so easy to slip on and off, and they are so freaking ADORABLE. They can make any outfit look more professional, and they come in so many cute colors and patterns now it’s disgusting. I could go broke on this staple alone. Hey look! Leopard print 😉

I could seriously go on and on about all of these cute styles for this fall, but I’ll cut myself off before I’m committed for retail therapy addiction. (Honestly though, I really think retail therapy should be added to all women’s insurance plans. I’d meet my deductible EVERY year.)

I hope this gave you some inspiration. I know for my college gals that these should 100% be in your shopping cart for back to school attire. This could definitely fuel some inspiration for those who need to touch up their wardrobes for work. I hope you are all enjoying the last bits of summer. Take that beach vacation. Go have a frozen margarita this afternoon for the both of us. Get your hair did. Go have a treat yo’ self day. Summer is almost over! Enjoy yourself! Please!

Updates on me: I’ll be visiting Destin, Florida within the next week or so to take a BLS CPR class, and you know damn well I’m going to take advantage of the area to explore while I’m there, so expect some content regarding Florida Panhandle beaches in the very near future. Also, did someone say Philly Cheesesteak? I’ll be in Philadelphia before the end of the month as well, and I’ve got some exciting plans in my back pocket for you all! Stay tuned! Good things are coming 🙂
